Meet Karin, your wedding stationery designer

Hi, I’m Karin, and I’ve been working at Piccolo Press for eight years. I’m the designer here and I take great pride in my work.

I graduated with a BA in Design from Inverness College, and after a short spell freelancing, I came to Piccolo Press and have never looked back.

What I love most is helping people get the right feel for their stationery.

Weddings are probably my favourite thing to design for. It’s such a special event, and quite honestly the printing techniques here at Piccolo are just perfect for adding that special touch to your big day.

Coloured foil gives a real luxury feel. Embossing is another favourite of mine, that subtle bump in the card, says so much by saying so little. And it’s all hand-printed… by craftsmen.

Getting your stationery right can be stressful, but I’m here to help. Here’s a few tips to guide you.

• Make sure all your stationery matches, from invitations to orders of service
• Download our free planner to keep on track
• Buy a package so you know you’ve got everything g covered
• Send me photos of things you love, It’ll inspire me.
• Order in plenty of time! ‘Save the date’ cards should go out as soon as you’ve chosen your date
• Order a few more than you need for those late additions
• Get a sample pack to get ideas.
